A Little Bit About Us

Here at Juniper Summer we sell our art ideas and original artwork put on t-shirts and hoodies, the kind we want to wear but can't ever seem to find anywhere. Based in Texas, our hearts migrate north to Alaska every summer, we’re kind of living between two worlds – hot sun and wild rivers – and we love it that way. Most of our inspiration comes from fly fishing, the outdoors, our travels, and just saying yes to wild adventure whenever we can.

Juniper Summer is us finally putting all the art floating around in our heads… somewhere other than a notebook or the back of a receipt. We’ve always aspired to be entrepreneurs, and this is a flexible, pack-it-in-the-truck option we can take on the road. We’ve been searching for something that combines our love of the wild outdoors, spirituality, and a real creative outlet, and this little shop is what showed up.

It’s a two-person circus over here: my husband is my partner in crime and co-collaborator in all of this. In our “other life” we’re both chefs – I’m the bread-is-life girlie, he’s the meat-and-potatoes guy – so we’re used to building things from scratch, tasting as we go, and refusing to send anything out that we wouldn’t be proud to put our name on. Same goes for our tees and hoodies. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and this is no exception.

Our mission is simple: take what we feel inside and bring it to life on a tee or hoodie. We’re outside-the-box thinkers and we live our lives that way, so we want our designs to feel like that too – a little different, a little wild, a lot like you. Our ideal customer is honestly anyone who looks at our designs and feels that tiny spark of “oh, that’s me.”
